 There is a new hobby store in Ajax called Flying Stuff Hobbies. It is owned and operated by Kelly Curl and specializes in electric airplanes, helicopters and accessories. Kelly is a sponsor of our club events so drop in and say "hi" when you're in Ajax. A new hobby supply store has just opened in Coburg. It's called MEG RC Hobbies and the proprietor is Mike Gervais. There is a new company in Toronto called "RC AeroGraphics" that is producing the most amazing vinyl cut and vinyl printed graphics and logos specifically for the R/C community. Its a model B-52 UAV This plane actually has 8 "real turbines" at about $1500 each It took over 2 years to build and, because there are so many things to control, it takes multiple pilots to fly the rig. Here is a link to a video of the Maiden flight. Its a pretty big file (30 megs) so if you're on a dial up modem, you could probably go make a coffee while it's downloading.
